The best approach is to call us — we'll ask a few quick questions about your home, contents, and any access issues, and recommend the right truck. As a rough guide: studios and 1-bedrooms suit the Small or Medium truck; 2–3 bedrooms suit the Large truck; 4+ bedrooms suit the Extra Large. When in doubt, go up a size — a bigger truck loads faster and can save you time overall.
We charge hourly — in half-hour increments — from when the truck departs our depot to when the job is complete. This means you only pay for time actually worked. Fixed quotes tend to inflate estimated hours to cover unknowns; our hourly model is almost always cheaper for the customer.
No depot charges and no fuel surcharges within a 5km radius of the Melbourne CBD. There's a small travel time charge for jobs outside that radius. All prices are door-to-door and GST inclusive. We'll be upfront about any potential extras before the job starts.
Yes — additional removalists are available at $68/hour. For large homes, adding a third or fourth crew member often cuts the total time enough that you come out ahead financially. We can advise on the best crew size for your specific move.
We'll size the truck correctly upfront to avoid this. For very large moves, we can arrange two trucks to run simultaneously — often more efficient than a single large truck making multiple trips. Call us and we'll plan the logistics with you.
